Where are your products made?
All LCC products are proudly South African — from the carefully selected materials to the local craftsmanship behind every piece.
Why use a sleep sack instead of blankets?
Sleep sacks help keep little ones warm throughout the night without loose blankets being kicked off. They support a more consistent sleep environment, encourage comfort and allow freedom of movement while staying cosy and secure. Our sleep sacks are designed as a safer alternative to loose blankets and support safe sleep practices by helping maintain a comfortable sleep temperature throughout the night.
Sleep sacks may help reduce risks associated with loose bedding and overheating when used correctly. Always ensure the correct size is used and avoid additional loose blankets or bedding in the sleep space.
What is the difference between the standard and footsie sleep sacks?
Our standard sleep sacks are designed purely for sleep, while our footsie sleep sacks include enclosed leg sections that allow more movement and versatility.
Are your sleep sacks suitable for sensory sensitive children?
Our products are thoughtfully designed by an OT with comfort, warmth and soft tactile experiences in mind. Many families with sensory sensitive children love the calming, cosy and secure feel of our sleep sacks.
Importantly, our products are designed to support safe, breathable sleep without overheating.
What should my child wear underneath?
This depends on the room temperature. In warmer weather, lightweight pyjamas are usually sufficient. In colder weather, layer with warmer sleepwear underneath.
Do the sleep sacks have tog ratings?
Our sleep sacks are described by fabric weight and seasonality rather than tog ratings.
How do I wash my sleep sack?
Cold or gentle machine wash recommended. Do not tumble dry on high heat. Please follow the care label attached to each product.
Orders & Shipping
How long does shipping take?
Please allow up to 1 week for your order to be beautifully made and delivered. As many of our products are made in small batches, this allows us to maintain the premium quality and craftsmanship LCC is known for.
Do you offer nationwide shipping?
Yes, we ship throughout South Africa.
Can I collect my order?
Yes. Collection in Bedfordview is available by arrangement.
Can I return or exchange an item?
We want you to love your LCC purchase. If you would like to request an exchange, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
Items must be:
Unworn and unused
In original condition
Free from washing, stains or damage
Returned with original packaging where possible
For hygiene and safety reasons, used or washed sleep products cannot be exchanged or returned.
If you received the incorrect size or there is a manufacturing fault, we will gladly assist with an exchange where possible.
What if my item arrives damaged?
We take exceptional care in packaging every order. If your item arrives damaged or you believe there is a manufacturing fault, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:
Your order number
Clear photographs of the item
Photographs of the packaging
Once assessed, we will arrange a replacement, repair or exchange where applicable.
Please note that slight variations in fabric placement, press studs and handmade finishing details form part of the unique nature of locally crafted products and are not considered faults.
Is this a good gift?
Absolutely. LCC products are practical luxury gifts that parents use every single day. They are a thoughtful baby shower, birthday or newborn gift that combines comfort, quality and beautiful design.
Should I buy more than one sleep sack?
We highly recommend having at least two sleep sacks — one to wear while the other is in the wash. Many families rotate between multiple favourites throughout the week.
